Ending on the Right Note

This week I prepared for a performance at ITT to welcome the esteemed panel who will sanction the next stage of merger of ITT and CIT. I played with a fellow member of staff, Martina O'Neill (fiddle) and her wonderful daughter Grace Angland (piano). We were situated in the new Comhaltas performance space within the Sports Academy. The venue is fabulous for small scale performances. It would be wonderful to see more traditional acts appear in the town. The smaller venue would make performances more affordable. alas we only got a glimpse of the visiting panel but we had fun entertaining staff involved in the process. Staff mentioned that we gave a great lift to proceedings, we struck the right note!
