Is there a DJ in the house?

The month I looked at using Ableton to DJ. students choose the music and sequenced a set for playback to their peers. To make it into an event we added some led lights and bean bags to the class setting. It was great fun. We then asked the DJ wiz Billy McGaley of BMG to show us how a real pro mixes live. It is really an art. Fascinating!

Since it was the month of love I asked students to choose their favourite love song and found out that Elvis still tops the charts. We then shared this with our peers using a QR code. Overall a great month for fun and experimenting.
