Service Description

Dr Susan H. Motherway offers digital heritage and storytelling services for communities, cultural organisations, festivals, schools, local authorities and research projects seeking to document and share living traditions. This work brings together ethnomusicology, oral history, podcasting, archive development and public engagement, with particular sensitivity to music, song, dance, folk theatre, local memory and place. Services may include podcast development, oral-history project design, interview planning, archival research, script writing, audio interpretation, digital collection curation and online presentation. Susan can help shape a project from the beginning, review existing material, identify themes, prepare interview questions, contextualise recordings, and turn archival sources into accessible public-facing stories. This service is especially suited to projects involving traditional music, local heritage, community arts, festivals, cultural mapping, repertoire collection or archive-to-performance work. Outputs may include podcast series, audio trails, online archive pages, learning resources, community exhibitions, interpretive texts or digital storytelling projects.
